Today I'm revealing everything I use to get my signature curls! 

I've been asked how I do my curls and what products I use for years and I've FINALLY put it all right here inn one space so you have an easy reference!  ​Woo hoo!​

When I do my hair I want it to last for 5 or 6 days so I curl it tight on the first day and usually sleep on it. When I wake up the curls relax a little and I get the look above. 

After a few days it relaxes even more and you get a looser wave, like the picture below.

It's super fun because you get to feel like you have a new style every day after you sleep on it.

The texture of my hair is unique so it I don't use any hair spray or anything to hold the curl which is why you won't see any listed below. If your hair requires more hold you can definitely explore product for that. I also believe that we can alter our hair with our beliefs. I have strong beliefs about the thickness of my hair and how it holds a curl which is available to anyone wanting to choose that belief! 

Come on, this wouldn't be a Steph Hendel post without bringing in the opportunity of what's possible with your hair via beliefs. ?

MIRAH HAIR OIL 

The look starts with a solid foundation of nourishing products and nourishing beliefs. 

Drinking lots of water makes a huge difference.
Eating and drinking lots of high quality nutrients makes a huge difference.
Using high vibrational products made from natural ingredients makes a huge difference. 

This hair oil is everything.

They do wonders for your hair.

HOW TO USE:
I lightly apply this to the ends of my hair a couple days after it's been styled to keep the ends hydrated. 

I also lightly apply it to my wet hair from mid the ends of hair before blow drying or styling. 

It's also great for frizz or flyaways. 

TIP: It is an oil so use sparingly. Too much can leave it looking greasy. 

I also put a tiny bit of this oil in Johnathon's cute little blonde curls whenever they get tangly or frizzy.

LEAVE IN + KERATIN

This has been one of my favorite products for my hair for years. 

HOW TO USE:
After showering, I spray it on the mid to ends of my hair to hydrate before I blow dry or style it.

Power Shake...or What We Now Call The Body Love Shake

Power shake felt a little too masculine for me so we gave it a new name.  ♥️ 
This drink makes my hair grow like WILD and it's made it healthier and better than ever.

How Inner Work Helps You Lose Weight

Hey love!

One of the best tools I've found in really upgrading my life and building the body I desire is this quick daily journaling practice. 

Journaling helps you see the emotional reasons why you're carrying extra weight on your body and when you establish that awareness you have the power to choose differently. 
​

Let's get started:
  1. Get a journal that speaks to you and is a beautiful color that makes you excited. This will be your Body Built By Love designated journal. Before you use this journal put one hand on your heart, one hand on your journal and close your eyes. I want you to set the intention with yourself that this journal and the words that fill the pages will be THE THING that changes your body and health for the better forever. Set the intention to be open to seeing things differently, to be available for new perspectives on your body, weight, food and fitness and set the intention that your body will be built by love from this point forward.

  2. Before you do this exercise I want you to be aware of every thought that enters your mind. All thoughts (especially very negative or judgmental thoughts) will be important information on what is needed for you to change your body in a lasting way. With your eyes closed envision yourself looking in the mirror at your body seeing it look exactly as you want it to be in every way.
    1. Can you envision it or are you finding it hard to visualize it as you? What thoughts come up immediately?  
    2. Is there a fear that it won't last?
    3. Is there a doubt that it's really you?
    4. Did you feel like you had to work your ass off to have it?
    5. Do you hear someone else's voice in your head with judgments about how you look?
    6. Do you feel like it's potentially not safe to walk around and do life in this body?

  3. If you want to go a little deeper: 
    1. ​Who's permission do I feel like I need to have the body I want? 
    2. If my body was exactly where I want it to be what negative thoughts come to mind? 
    3. What scares me about having a body that hot/fit/sexy/curvy/skinny/volumptuous/the look you desire?
      ​
  4. Look at the list of what you wrote. This is the list of beliefs that has to change in order for your body to feel safe enough to release the weight, feel amazing to live in and change shape. You can use this as a tool moving forward in your transformation journey and can continue to revisit this journal and elaborate on it as things come up inside of you.

ENERGY GLOW SMOOTHIE

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 2 Cups Spring Water
  • 2 Cups Organic Spinach
  • ½ Head Organic Romaine
  • ½ Lemon
  • 3 Sticks of Celery
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Organic Green Apple
GET BLENDING
  1. Add ingredients to high powered blender. Blend on high until smooth. 
  2. Enjoy while repeating the belief "this smoothie nourishes my body, boosts my metabolism, improves digestion and helps shed any extra weight or sickness." Top with organic frozen berries for fun.

Feeling lean and healthy used to feel like the mystery of my life. I would wake up every morning feeling bloated, sick, tired and unhappy with how I looked and felt. The way I felt when I woke up used to affect my entire day. 


I knew I should have a body I felt great in (and why not have flat abs while we're at it) but how was beyond confusing. Nothing ever seemed to work until I was gifted with this beautiful process of changing my body and life in a way that was actually fun and simple. This was completely counter-intuitive to how I always thought it had to be.


After learning this incredible process, I felt it was my responsibility to share it with every woman who feels the way I used to feel - confused, frustrated, disappointed in myself and tired of trying things that don't work. I share some of my tips for reducing belly bloat and getting flat abs in this week's episode of The Fit and Fearless Female Show.
